Leo R. Nolan Worked for Exxon, served in Army, sports enthusiast Leo R. Nolan 93, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. Leo was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Leo and Mary Nolan. He served his country proudly in the US Army. He was a graduate of Edison Tech in Elizabeth, NJ. Leo worked for many years at Exxon in Bayonne and Linden. He was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoyed playing sports including Burry Biscuit Softball and Catholic Club Basketball. But most important to him was spending time with his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Leo is predeceased by his parents Leo and Mary Nolan and his brothers John and Robert. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Madeline and his four children Leo and wife Eileen, Glenn, Cathy and husband Gary, and Kenneth and wife Laura, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The Funeral Mass can be viewed on our St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church website (click Livestream). The family asks that no guests come to the church if you wish to attend please do so via the livestream. The Livestream will begin approximately 10 minutes prior to the start of the funeral Mass on Tuesday March 30 at 10:00am. https://stbartholomewchurch.org/ A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
