JOAN MARIE LENGACHER December 28,1942 ˜ March 17, 2021 Joan Marie Lengacher peacefully passed away in her sleep at her retirement home March 17, 2021. Joan was born to Andrew and Jean Lindow in Redding, CA,Dec. 28, 1942. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many people. She was such a good parent that she became a secondary mother figure to several of her children’s closest friends. She was a kind, lovable person who loved her children and grandchildren very much and will be greatly missed by them. Her most fulfilling and proudest moments were during the simple every day moments with her family. She sacrificed much to ensure their lives were happy and full and it was deeply appreciated. She was beautiful, inside and out, traits that gifted her with many friends and acquaintances. She loved her job as a food broker and she was very well known by many individuals for her cheerful disposition within that industry. She owned and operated her own business from 2004 until the pandemic and her failing health led her to enter into retirement. After a full life, she quietly battled dementia during the last few years of her life. She was a loving mother who leaves behind two children, Mike Lengacher and wife Lisa and Laura McClelland and husband Mark. Most importantly she was a wonderful Nana to her grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, and Katelyn.
