JEFFREY LEE CAUBLE December 25, 1972 ˜ September 24, 2020 Jeff was born Dec. 25, 1972, in Vancouver, WA, to Cliff and Nyla Cauble. He passed away Sept. 24, 2020, in Portland, OR. He was a lifelong resident of Vancouver and graduated from Mt. View High School in 1991. During high school Jeff played varsity football and also participated in a cultural Heritage Alliance program where he toured Europe with other students from high schools throughout the U.S. Jeff received college credits for the program from Eastern Washington University. After graduation from Mt. View Jeff attended Central Washington University and graduated in Political Science and Economics. Following graduation he received an internship at the U.S Dept. of Commerce where he spent six months and also earned a semester of graduate credit. Following the internship Jeff worked at Terminal 1 at the Portland for Auto Warehousing for 21 years. He was an avid reader and had a home library consisting of more than 300 volumes which were donated to the Ft. Vancouver Library in his honor. His survivors include his mother, Nyla Cauble of Vancouver; his sister, Dr. Katherine Patry (Andrew) of Ellensburg, WA; niece, Sarah Elizabeth Patry; and nephew, Joseph Andrew Patry of Ellensburg. A remembrance service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens chapel early in May. Interment was held earlier due to COVID restrictions. Please share a memory @ www.columbian.com/obits
