M. A. DURRIN
M. A. Durrin 12/6/1920-3/12/2021 Born in Long Beach, raised five children, and died quietly at home in Manhattan Beach. Survived by Mary, John, Kim, Jim, Jordan Funk, four grandsons and three great-grandsons. She did dressmaking and alterations for many people over the years. Taught Sunday School and played piano in church. Delivered Meals on Wheels. Lunch Lady at Pacific School 14 years. Hiking was her passion (often alone), and she had probably been on most of the trails around the Southland, and beyond. Walking on the strand and the pier were her favorites. Many friends enriched her life. Smart, funny, energetic. We love you, Mom, and will always miss you.
