Francis Ewing "Scooter" Landry Jr
Francis Ewing Landry Jr., "Scooter" 52, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven, MS. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 12:00 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church (Collierville, TN). The funeral will be livestreamed via Faith Collierville Worship Live. https://www.facebook.com/FLCworshipcollierville. A recording of the service will be archived. Interment will be at the Arlington National Cemetery at a future date. Frank graduated from Barbe High School and LSU. He served as a United States Marine Officer and Naval Aviator and retired from the military after 21 years of service to his country. He continued his love of flying with a 16-year career as a 767 Captain for FedEx Express. Frank loved God above all, and his family was his life. He raised his two sons as witnesses to his strong faith in God and his incredible work ethic. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Katherine "Katie" Landry of Southaven, MS; two sons, Erik Landry of Dallas, TX and Michael Landry of Sneads Ferry, NC and his mother, Annie Doty Landry of Southaven (formerly Lake Charles). Frank was preceded in death by his father, Francis Ewing Landry, Sr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Warrior Dog Foundation ( warriordogfoundation.org ) in memory of Frank Landry.
