In memory of
Shirley I. Cassatt
DOVER-Shirley I. (Hosler) Cassatt, 74, passed away Sunday February 28, 2021 at Penn State Health-Holy Spirit Medical Center. She was the wife of Gary W. "Mike" Cassatt Sr., to whom she was married for 56 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be private at the convenience of family. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born May 24, 1946 in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ellen (Harbold) Hosler. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker for her husband and family. In addition, she held various part-time employment over the years, most recently she worked as a cashier at Giant. A member of Lewisberry United Methodist Church, she enjoyed reading and puzzles. Above all though, she loved being with her family and cherished the time spent with them and this especially includes the long phone conversations she enjoyed so much. Shirley enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a kind, simple woman whose life was filled with love…Mike, her children and their families. She will be missed by so many. If you had the chance to know her you were her "friend". In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cassatt is also survived by 1 son, Gary W.
