Shelby Bounds Kodak - Shelby Jean Bounds - age 82 of Kodak passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021. Of the Baptist faith. Shelby worked at Kay's Ice Cream for twenty years and was a CNA for over ten years. She took great pride in her work always putting the care of customers and patients first. Her passion was caring for and spoiling family and friends, and she always showed great respect to everyone she met. Preceded in death parents, Harold and Evelyn Cox; brother, Joe Cox; brothers-in-law, Jack Edmunds, Bill Hutson; daughters, Charlotte and Patricia Bounds; and great granddaughter, Haiden Bounds. Survived by children, Joy (Bob) Maffeo of Suwannee, GA, Steve (Flor) Bounds of Dacula, GA, Russ (Theresa) Bounds of Sommerville, AL; Sandy Blanton of Kodak, TN and Nancy Bounds of Lenoir City, TN; grandchildren, Robert (Kelly), Mark, Cory, Ashlee, Ashley, Taylor, Addison, Chris (Lauren); great grandchildren, Ella Grace, Mason, Lilliana, Max, Tanner, Talon, Tynlee, Damien, Aiden, Kaia, Emma, Leo and Ryan; sisters, Joan Edmunds, Mary Hutson and Janet (Kenneth) Lane all of Dandridge, TN; and sister-in-law, Cathy Cox of Knoxville, TN. There will be a Call-of-Convenience 10:00 AM-4:00 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home with the family present from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM. There will be a Chapel Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Cliff Amos officiating followed by a procession to Eastview Memorial Gardens for the interment.
