George J. Cobert, III, 67, of DuBois, PA died Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on April 22, 1953, in Amarillo, TX, he was the son of the late George J.and Lydia A. (Manini) Cobert, Jr. On May 8, 1976, he married his wife of 44 years, Felicia L. (Federici) Cobert. She survives. George was a self-employed general contractor for 45 years. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, was a board member of the Reitz Theater, and past president and board member of Treasure Lake Property Owners Association. He enjoyed being outdoors and woodworking. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. George is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Laur and her husband, Brian, of Naples, FL; one son, George J. Cobert IV and his wife, Heather, of Bethel Park, PA; three grandchildren: Mason and Catherine Laur and George J. Cobert V.; and three sisters: Cindy Gazda, Betty Cobert and Peggy Gabrich. There will be no public visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
