Beatrice M. Guigar Beatrice M. Guigar, age 77, of Bad Axe, passed away on Friday, February, 26, 2021, at Huron Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. Beatrice was born on October 28, 1943, to Charles and Mary (Emming) Hessling. She married Daniel Guigar, Jr. on June 26, 1965. Beatrice was a member of St. Hubert Parish. She worked at Huron Medical Care Facility for 18 years in various departments. Beatrice enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, going to the casino, and crocheting. Beatrice is survived by her husband, Dan; one son, Anthony Guigar; two daughters, Kimberly Motz, and Kari (Douglas) Schember; four grandchildren Shawn O'Parka, Jackson Motz, Rachel Schember, and Evan Schember; two sisters, Angeline Burkhard, and Audrey (Kenneth) Wolschlager; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Margaret Hessling, Joseph (Diane) Guigar, John (Rita) Guigar, Richard (Diane) Guigar, Kathleen (Ralph) Behnke, Elmer (Patricia) Guigar, Anna (Louis) Laming, and Sabina (Bud) Leigh; and many nieces and nephews. Beatrice is preceded in death by daughter, Kelly Guigar Young; sisters Elizabeth Landry, Margaret Volmering, Rose Sherman, Rita Ostrander, and Theresa Durand; brothers Clarence Hessling and Charles Hessling. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 11 am at St. Hubert Parish – Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 3 -7 pm at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or Wednesday at the church from 10 am until the service time at 11 am.
