John Arthur Simpson
John Arthur Simpson, MD passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife Edwina Simpson by his side on February 10, 2021. Jack was the oldest son of seven children born to the late John A. Simpson MD and the late Agnes Simpson on July 6, 1935. Jack was born in Washington DC and attended Georgetown University and Georgetown Medical school. He was valedictorian of the class of 1960 and awarded the Kober Medal. He then went on to complete a residency in gastroenterology at Yale university school of medicine. Jack spent his final years of his career dedicated to the provision of medical care to the residents of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. From childhood to retirement, Jack endeavored to fulfill his primary purpose in life; to serve others lovingly and humbly. Jack is survived by his wife Edwina, his siblings Micheal, Tom, Ann and Agnes, his daughters Cathleen, Maura, Leah, Noelle, Christine, Stepchildren Lisa, Steve and Kristine. Also his 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers Jack would of loved donations to Las Vegas Rescue Mission. Services will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021, 12:30, at Palm Mortuary , 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Henderson, NV, 12:30 viewing, 1:30 funeral, 2:30 burial . 89123,
