Jack Anthony Chiarella, age 96 of Hueytown passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in World War II and was retired from Alabama Power Company. Jack was a faithful member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Sam and Concetta "Jean" Chiarella; first wife, Lois V. Chiarella; brothers: Vincent J Chiarella and Anthony P. Chiarella and his sister Josephine Ragusa. He is survived by his wife Bernadine M. Chiarella; sons: Sam J. Chiarella (Glenda) and Ernest F. Chiarella (Frances); nephews: Sammy A. Chiarella and Frank Chiarella (Phyllis); multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2021 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 751 Academy Drive, Bessemer AL 35022.
