David Goodwin Jr., 83, of Tequesta, Fla., formerly of Malvern and Camp Hill, died peacefully Feb. 4, 2021, at Jupiter Medical Center Hospice. Born Jan. 7, 1938, in Philadelphia, David was the son of David and Sara Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sally Clarke. David graduated from Lower Merion High School and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bucknell University. While at Bucknell, he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and ROTC, and after graduation he served in the U.S. Army for five years. He spent the majority of his career in construction management and was talented in carpentry and home renovation. He most enjoyed watching and coaching his sons' sports, spending time with friends at the beach, and relaxing at the family cabin in Caledonia State Park. David is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Suzanne, and his children and grandchildren: son John, daughter-in-law Susan, granddaughter Amanda, and grandson Matthew, of Camp Hill; son Andrew, daughter-in-law Alison, granddaughter Elinore, and grandson Ian, also of Camp Hill; and son James, of San Diego, Calif.
