Janet Helen Hanson Jan. 24, 1935 - Feb. 17, 2021 Janet Helen Hanson, 86, of Moses Lake, Wash., died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, after her fight with congestive heart failure. She passed away peacefully in her home with her family present. Janet was raised in Portland, Ore., graduating from Lincoln High School in 1953. Soon after graduation she married Gene Hanson. They were married for 67 years raising their boys Jeff, Gerry and Jim in the Salem and Tigard areas. Janet is survived by her husband, Gene; her younger brother, Larry; their two sons, Jeff and Jim; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m., Feb. 27, 2021, at the Journey Church - 303 E. Nelson Rd., in Moses Lake.
