Eric T. Brassell, Sr. Springfield - Eric T. Brassell Sr. "Ricky", age 54, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Roy and Beatrice Austin and Thomas D. Brassell Sr. and Elizabeth Brassell; uncle Don Brassell; aunt Betty Gregory; and friend Bill Bailey. He is survived by his children Brittany Boone, Eric T. Brassell Jr., Jason Benefield, Timothy Benefield, and Teresa Benefield; mother Patsy (Bobby Lee) White; father Thomas D. Brassell Jr.; sisters Tracie Fuqua and Deenna Holland; 16 grandchildren; 8 nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Friday, February 26th from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again on Saturday, February 27th from 12 P.M. until the hour of Service at 4 P.M. with Bro. David Royalty officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's or the charity of your choice.
