MaryLou Hunter, 92, of Mission Viejo, CA passed away on Tuesday, February 9th 2021. MaryLou was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 14, 1928 to the late Fred and Josefina Garcia. She met and married her late husband Elmer on September 17, 1955. MaryLou always kept her family's needs and support at the forefront of her life. She was an amazing cook and party planner. Her eye for fashion, interior decorating and landscaping was astonishing. She had a great heart, an amazing sense of humor, vibrant personality and her and dad could tear up a dance floor. MaryLou is survived by her three sons and their spouses, Jim and Laura Hunter, Tom and Courtney Hunter and Dennis Hunter; and six grandchildren; Ryan, Candace, Gina, Kory, Kelly and Mark; and great-granddaughter, Taylor. She is also survived by her sisters, Ann Kennedy and Judy Alverez. MaryLou and her family are very thankful and appreciative of the excellent care she received during the last seven years of their residency at La Vida Senior Living, Mission Viejo. There will be a private memorial at Pacific View Cemetery in Newport Beach, Ca.
