In memory of
EZELL, Glenn Glenn Alan Ezell, returned to his heavenly home suddenly on February 12, 2021 at the age of 57. His life began in Mesquite, Texas on July 16, 1963. He would meet the love of his life Karen, in the late 80's, marry, be blessed with a beautiful daughter Ashley Nicole, and spend the next 32 years together. Glenn was a 1981 graduate of North Mesquite High School; and a 1987 graduate from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. During his tenure at North Texas, he was an active member of North Texas' Sigma Phi Epsilon (SigEp) fraternity, Texas Beta Chapter; and continued throughout the years volunteering his time, serving on the Alumni Advisory Board, Alumni AVC, Chapter Counselor, and in 2016 was selected to serve on the National Board of Governors as the SigEp District Governor Regional Representative for Texas and Oklahoma. He loved his "brothers" young and old and affectionally (and some would say deservedly) earned the knick-name "Animal." Glenn was the consummate entrepreneur who believed in the American dream, freedom, and rock 'n roll. He enjoyed being on the road almost as much as he enjoyed a great bottle of wine with friends and family. Glenn built a successful concert merchandising business - Event Supplies and Services, and never saw it as work, but an opportunity to do what he loved - sling cotton, hear a great band or watch an amazing sporting event. He always had a smile or hug when you needed one; and he lived life to the fullest, loyal to friends and family, loved a good game of golf, fiercely competitive in cards and business, but if you needed a place to stay or meal, his door was always open. Glenn is survived by his wife Karen; daughter Ashley Ezell Cunningham (affectionately referred to as "kiddo"), and her husband Collin of Kingsville, TX, Brother in-Law and Sister in-Law Keith and Ellen Johns of Carmel, IN, Sister in-law and Brother in-Law Sharon and Marc Poulin, of Loveland, CO, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family across the world. He is proceeded in death by his father Conrad Alan Ezell and mother Juanita Butt Ezell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Glenn's name may be made to the North Texas Sigma Phi Epsilon's Texas Beta Chapter (www.txbeta .com, a 503c tax deductible entity) supporting the future young men of SigEp. A celebration of Glenn's life will be held at a later date.
