Craver ABRAM ZIMRI CRAVER January 11, 1930 February 3, 2021 Abram Zimri Craver was born January 11, 1930 to Sidney and Statory Craver in Harleton, Texas. Abram was the 8th born in a family of 9. Abram graduated from Macedonia High School in Jefferson Texas in 1947. He enlisted in the United States Army and served our country for 25 years. During his tenure, Abram served in Germany, Indochina, USA, and 2-tours in Vietnam. He was presented 4 Bronze medals; Bronze Star Medal; Good Conduct Medal-5th Ward; Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm and 1 Oak Leaf Cluster for the Army Commendation Medal. After retiring from the U.S. Army, Abram attended and graduated from Pikes Peak Community College with an A.A. Degree. He began his 2nd career at Hewlett Packard in Colorado Springs, Colorado as a Computer Security Specialist retiring after 20 years of service. Abram was an active member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church joining in 1970 until his death. Abram served in numerous ministries to include, yet not limited to (1) The Ushers Ministry serving as President for both the Western States and Southern District; (2) President for over 30 years on the Ushers Ministry at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church (3) Dean of Christian Education for the Southern District; (4) Prison Ministry; (5) Spokesman for numerous Men's Day occasions; (6) President of the Golden Age Ministry; as well as devoted to Bible Study; Vacation Bible School; and the Singles Ministry. Abram also mentored men throughout the community. Abram peacefully passed away on February 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings. He leaves to cherish his memory sons: Larry Bernard Craver of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Richmond (Paula) Agrave of Harleton, Texas; 1 brother; Reverend Sidney (Opal) Craver of Vacaville, California; 1 granddaughter; Victoria Agrava of Harleton, Texas. Amidst a multitude of people, he was truly blessed with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and kindred souls Myra and Anthony Fraser of Colorado Springs, Colorado. A special niece and caregiver; Lois Y. Johnson, Denver, Colorado; lifelong friends Joe and Zelma Nathaniel, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Visitation for Mr. Abram Zimri Craver will be held at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services for Mr. Abram Zimri Craver will be held at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory (1104 S.
