Doris A. (Dexter) (Stone) Young Canandaigua/Bloomfield - Doris A. (Dexter) (Stone) Young, age 86, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021, with her adoring children by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, John; son, Leo P. Stone, Jr.; first husband, Leo P. Stone, Sr.; parents, Fred and Mabel; five sisters; two brothers; and beloved pets. Doris is survived by her son, Michael Stone; two daughters, Sonja (Harney) Thomas and Lisa (Patrick) Vimislik; brothers, Allen, Bill and Clifton; sister, Dorothy; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and protector, Nikki, her yorkie. Doris had many passions in her life. She loved digging in the dirt and everything nature. Doris was a creative crafter and a published author. She was lovingly referred to as "crazy grandma" and "granny" and will be forever cherished as a loving mother. Doris had a place in her heart for all who showed her kindness. The family wishes to thank Doris's medical care team and in-home aides for their support. In accordance with Doris's wishes, there will be no services. Interment will be in East Bloomfield Cemetery.
