In loving memory of a loyal and dedicated member of Iron Workers Local 361 for 53 years. Barry passed peacefully at home on February 9th. Born into a big Irish family in the 1940's that he loved very much in Park Slope, Brooklyn. One of his first jobs was the construction of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge in the early 1960's, and then most notable, the World Trade Center in 1969. He lived in Brooklyn his entire life and retired in the past year. He is survived by his wife and two children. His son is a 3rd generation Iron Worker and his daughter is an artist. With a presence larger than life he will be severely missed, but his legacy will live on through his NY stories. Services to be held at Nickerson Funeral Home in Wellfleet, MA on February 25th from 3 to 5 pm.
