Ethel M "Sadie" Campbell, 97 years old, of Newport, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Premier at Perry Village. She was born November 1, 1923 in Thompsontown to Harry and Kathryn (Garlin) Myers. She attended the Newport Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Campbell, son Glenn E. Campbell, sister Helen Oren and four year old grandson Mark Campbell. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Faye Campbell of New Bloomfield, grandson Brian Campbell and wife Lea of Harrisburg and niece Marsha Oren of Newport. Services will be held Saturday from the David Myers Funeral Home with a viewing from 11 AM until the funeral service at 12 PM with Pastor Gary Bellis officiating.
