In memory of
Billy Jack Truitt
Billy Jack Truitt Bethany - Billy Jack Truitt was born Dec. 17, 1939 in Shattuck, OK to Vera and Willie Truitt. Our beloved father and grandfather went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 21, at the age of 81. Billy Jack successfully wrestled with a diagnosis of AML Leukemia, but then passed due to catching the China Virus. Bill enjoyed living his entire life in Oklahoma where most his family and friends live until a year ago when he moved to Dallas, Texas to be close to his daughters. Billy Jack is survived by his two daughters, Roxanne Wingfield and Elizabeth Truitt who both currently reside in Texas. He has 7 grandkids, 3 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Billy Jack is also survived by his youngest brother, Ronald and his wife Brenda and his sister-in-law, Donna Truitt. He truly loved his Mother and Father, his two sons, Jerry and Randy, and his brother, Donald, who preceded him. Billy Jack separately served in the Army, Air Force, and DOD, a proud patriot that loved his Country. Billy Jack enjoyed a long career in home building and commercial and residential construction, often working with his dad, brothers and cousins. Billy Jack attended the Bible Missionary Church most of his life. Although he will be missed and tears will be shed, he left a great legacy for his family. His passion was the Lord our Savior. Billy Jack was excited about his place in heaven; he knew it was going to be full of joy. He left us with a peacefulness in our hearts and wonderful memories full of love and laughter. His hope was in the Lord. Psalms 103 was very special to Billy Jack. Services will be held at Mercer-Adams in Bethany, OK on Saturday, February 20 at 2:00pm. Following will be a graveside service at Pleasant Valley Cemetery on SW 59th and Council in Wheatland, OK with Military Tribute. The service will be live streamed on his obituary page at www.mercer-adams.com
