Anna Henthorn Oklahoma City - Anna Laura Henthorn, Oklahoma City, passed away Feb. 11, 2021 at the age of 99. She was born in Union City, Oklahoma to Herman and Elsie Klepper on August 29, 1921. She married Jack Henthorn in 1944. At the age of 16 she was cooking for farm crews. When she turned 17 she moved to Oklahoma City and worked for the Henry Horn family for 50 years. She worked with the YMCA as a pastry cook for 4 years baking as many as 250 pies a month. She then went to work for Galson's Ready to Wear Shop as a window dresser. Laura started her own catering business a short time later. She retired at age 84. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Henthorn, brothers, Raymond, Harold, Herman and wife Betty, her sister Mildred Mussyal and husband Fritz, sister Dorothy Carpenter and husband Herchel, brother-in-law Charlie Mussyal and sister-in-law Pat Klepper. She is survived by her brothers, Roy Klepper, Oklahoma City and Donald Klepper and wife Carolyn, Mustang, OK.; her sisters Lorene Mussyal, Oklahoma City and Betty Porter, Mustang, OK and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be 2pm-5pm Thursday and 8am-5pm Friday at Bill Merritt Funeral Service. Funeral Service is 2pm Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 6501 NW 23rd, with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
