Joanna Haltom Foley
Joanna Haltom Foley Joanna Haltom Foley, daughter of Laverne Coates Haltom and John F. Haltom, died January 23, 2021, at the age of 74. Born in Camden, Arkansas, in 1946, Joanna grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, attending Alice E. Carlson Elementary School and McLean Jr. High School. She graduated from R. L Paschal High School in 1965. She was married in 1967 in Robert Carr Chapel at Texas Christian University where her father taught political science and public affairs. After attending TCU, she joined the U. S. Marine Corps and moved to southern California, where her son, Louis Raddigan, Jr. was born. She called the Palm Springs area her home for many years. She became a teacher of cosmetology and a master color and cut specialist who performed and taught in competitions, hair shows and classrooms nationwide. Joanna was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, John F. Haltom, Jr., and her uncle, Gary D. Haltom of Fort Worth. She is survived by her son and three grandchildren of Rainier, Washington, her sister, Amy Haltom of Richmond, California, and her brother, Matthew Haltom of Lantana, Texas. Joanna will be buried at a later date in a private ceremony with full military honors in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
