SONNY JEFFERY SHOOTE May 17, 1963 ˜ December 30, 2020 Sonny Jeffery Shoote passed away suddenly, Dec. 30, 2020, in Vancouver, WA. He was 57. He was born in Vancouver, May 17, 1963, to Walton (Shoote) and Earlene (Forbes) Rapakko. Sonny attended Covington Junior High School, graduating from Columbia River High School in 1982. After two years in the US Navy, he began his longtime employment at Costco Portland 1985-2004 and then in Vancouver until his death. Sonny had a great love for the University of Washington football team and had collected an impressive amount of Husky-themed gear, as well as attending games whenever possible. He was also a beekeeper, with a hive in the yard from which he and his wife Jennifer collected honey to both eat and make into various products. Helping those in need was also something very close to Sonny’s heart. Sonny was preceded in death by his father, Walton (Sonny) Shoote; and is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Johnson); sons, Zack Shoote and Austin Shoote; stepchildren, Aleysha Fraser and Nathan Fraser; mother, Earlene Rapakko; and siblings, John Golphenne, Darrell Shoote, Brad Shoote, Dennis Shoote and multiple extended family and friends.
