Ronald G. Dietz Fort Morgan - Ronald G. Dietz, 82, of Fort Morgan, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2020 at his home. Ron was born on May 27, 1938 in Fort Collins to Fred and Pauline Dietz. Ron proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves from 1961 through 1967. Instead of continuing farming, Ron supported his family as a self-employed electrician in Minatare Nebraska. Ron returned to Colorado in the early 80's and worked at several locations including R & R, owning a vending machine business, and retiring from County Express of Fort Morgan. In retirement, he was a model train enthusiast and enjoyed traveling and going to auctions. He was preceded in death by his father, mother; and brothers, Bobby and Rich. He leaves to mourn his loss; his son, Doug, daughter-in-law, Anita; sister, Dorothy Heckman; brother, Bill; grandchildren, Casey, Ethan and Tesla, and many more family members and friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Collins. The family will be receiving friends and family for food and fellowship at the Windsor American Legion immediately following the service Arrangements have been entrusted to Heer Mortuaries & Crematory in Fort Morgan.
