COAL TOWNSHIP - Janet G. Brown, 88, of 1637 W. Lynn St., passed away Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Luther Crest, in Allentown. She resided at the family's Lynn Street home for the past 50 years. Janet was born in Pottsville, July 6, 1932, a daughter of the late Grace M. (Wary) and Walter E. Barrett. Janet was married Nov. 29, 1955, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Minersville, to Andrew J. Brown, who passed away Dec. 21, 2014. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Of Hope Church, Coal Township. Janet was extremely creative and had a sharp wit. A homemaker, she had also worked for a time for the Arrow Shirt Co. Janet was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and is survived by a son, Andrew W. Brown and his wife, Diane Begany, of Allentown; a grandson, Dylan T. Brown, of Allentown; and a brother, Walter Barrett, of New York. BROWN - Janet G. Brown, 88, of 1637 W. Lynn St., Coal Township.
