David James Caballero
David James Caballero 12-3-1976 - 1-9-2021 David was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord on January 9, 2021. He was reunited with two grandmothers, a grandfather and his best friend, Brandon Peavy. He passed way from COVID-19. David grew up in a loving and caring family in Temple City, Arcadia and Monrovia, CA. He moved to Indio with his parents Glen and Theresa in 2008. Growing up, David was an all-around athlete. As a youngster he played little league, played football in high school and was on the swim team at Temple City High School where he graduated in 1995. He absolutely excelled in two things, water skiing and bowling. He learned how to ski when he was 10 years old. He was fearless and could cut a wall of water like nobody we'd ever seen. However, his true passion was bowling. He played in several leagues and in a professional series in the local Southern California area. He was a truly gifted bowler whose highlight was winning a national Sam's Town tournament in Las Vegas where he rolled a 299 (that darned 10 pin!) on his final game to shut everyone down! The happiest moment of his life was the day he met his future wife and soulmate, Crystal. Talk about two people who were meant for each other. It was fun just watching them. They were two people so much in love. They were married on October 25, 2014. Not a phone call would go by without David talking about her. It was obvious she made him so happy. David is survived by his loving soulmate Crystal and his constant companion, his Yorkie Sebastian, his loving parents Glen and Theresa Caballero, his brother Chris (Lisa) with niece and nephew Madison and Mason, and nephew and niece Peter and Vivian Marshall.
