Betty J. Miner
Betty J. Miner, 87, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, passed away on January 27, 2021. Betty was born in Quincy, FL and was a lifelong resident of Richmond Hill. Mom was a graduate of Bradwell Institute and Draughon's Business College. She was the owner and operator with her husband of Miners Service Station. She was a Realtor of Coldwell Banker and was the first woman city council and mayor pro tem of Richmond Hill. Betty was a member of the Richmond Hill Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, and the Bryan County Republican Party. She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Miner; her sister, Shirley Davis and her son-in-law, Leslie Galbreath. Betty is survived by her brother, Robert Lee; daughters, Sheila Galbreath, Donna Love (Fulton), Angela Foss (Frank, Sr.); grandchildren, John Love, Frank Foss, III (Kerri); great-grandchildren, David McCosker, Cole Love, Haven Foss, Alicyn Foss and Falyn Foss; as well as many nieces and nephews. A "Celebration of Life" has been postponed to a later date. All remembrances can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Richmond Hill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
