William Joseph Faimon Nashville - William Joseph Faimon passed away on January 23rd, 2021. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church. Bill had his priorities in line-God-family-friends-work. He loved his St. Louis Cardinals, Notre Dame, athletic events, and golf. He was a spiker with the Rock Island Railroad (1948-1949), a bricklayer's helper (1950), worked at a service station. Graduated from Notre Dame University (1954)- Captain in the US Air Force (1954-1956), Graduated from Vanderbilt law school, served in the CIA for 12 years. Began his law practice in 1959-1982, elected a Nashville General Sessions Judge (1982-2006), Volunteered at ST. Thomas ER, and belonged to the Hooligans, Knights of Columbus, Old Timers Baseball, Nashville Bar Association, and St. Patrick's Church. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph E. & Gertrude Faimon, and son, Tony Faimon. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy S. Faimon, Brother-in-law, Dennis Michael Summers, Son, Terry (Karen) Faimon, 3 grandchildren, Blake Faimon, US Air Force Captain's Caitlin (Will) Mott, and Megan Faimon, and great grandchild, Aurora Faimon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Room in the inn, PO Box 25309, Nashville, TN, 37202 or to the charity of your choice. Due to Covid -19 a private service will held by the family.
