In memory of
Emily Lynn Bengtson
Emily Lynn Bengtson North Hollywood, CA - Emily Lynn Bengtson, 22, of North Hollywood, California died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Jan. 20. Born in Alexandria, Virginia she was raised in the Nashville area, moving to Los Angeles two years ago to pursue her dream of performing in the world of hip-hop/ contemporary dance. Putting her artistic pursuit on hold she served as an essential worker throughout the pandemic, both at Trader Joe's and Amazon. Preceded in death by adoring grandparents, she is survived by her parents, Carl and Karen Bengtson of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, brothers Robert and Michael, godparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a number of great friends and co-workers in Tennessee and California, all of whom are devastated by this sudden and unexpected loss. The family remains in shock and with the pandemic still loose in both L.A. and Nashville, we welcome expressions of sympathy but expect that any memorial service be postponed until we can gather to remember this special, beautiful, intelligent, caring, creative and above-all, strong young woman.
