William (Bill) Alioto June 21, 1935 - January 8, 2021 Valley Springs, California William (Bill) Alioto, 85, died January 8th, 2021, at his Valley Springs, California home. Bill was born in Monterey, California to Louise Alioto and Vito Alioto. He also had a brother John who preceded him in death. Bill attended Monterey High School and continued his education at the University of San Francisco and was a proud member of the 1957 graduating class where he earned his Bachelor's degree in political science. He also received a Master's degree in social science from San Francisco State. Although Bill had a decade long career owning several businesses, including O'Grady's Old Time Photos in Old Sacramento, the majority of his professional life was spent as an educator, both as a teacher and administrator. He was always searching for new ways to educate his students including creating one of the first computer labs in California. Bill enjoyed taking photographs around the world, playing golf and was an avid movie buff, an interest he passed on to his sons Mark, Dean, and Matt. He also loved traveling with his wife of 39 years, Robyn Roebuck, and visiting her parents Dick and Donna, who were a very important part of his life. Bill is survived by his wife Robyn, sons Mark, Dean, and Matt, daughter-in-law's Olana, Ali, and Bee, and his 5 grandchildren Nick, Mitch, Jon, Ruby, and Thomas.
