The family of Thomas Carabine sadly announces his passing on January 5,2021 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Springfield on March 27,1936 he was a graduate of Cathedral high school and Western New England College. Tom retired from a successful career as purchasing manager for the City of Chicopee and was a member of the Purchasing Management Association of Western Mass. Being a very giving man, he assisted in fundraising for the American Heart Association and in retirement assisted residents at Keystone Woods. In his leisure he enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the Patriots. He will be greatly missed by his son Thomas Carabine of Old Orchard Beach Maine, daughter Christine Daven of Chester Ct, granddaughter Catherine of Ct and his long-time friend Joyce Fetherston of Agawam. He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen and his grandson. All services were held privately for the family.
