DeKorver, Grace Jenison Grace (Baker) DeKorver, age 88, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She is survived by her children, Kathy and Rev. Don Van Slyke, Linda and Steve Bourque, Kimberly and James Marr, Mick and Karin DeKorver; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, David and Nora Baker of Alaska; many nieces and nephews; many long time special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Bert and Alma Baker; grandson, David Van Slyke; her sister and brothers. Grace retired from the Kent County Treasurer's office after many years. She enjoyed camping at Grand Haven beach, spending time with her grandchildren, including going to their many school activities. She was born and raised in the faith by Godly parents and lived for the Lord her entire life. Funeral services for Grace will be held on Monday, January 18, at 2:00 P.M. at Fellowship Reformed Church (Use Entrance D), 6610 36th Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426, with Rev. Don Van Slyke officiating (Livestream available through the VanderLaan Funeral Home Facebook page). Interment Historic Cemetery in Grand Haven. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at Fellowship Reformed Church on Monday from 1 to 2 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods for the loving care they provided.
