He played an integral part in fundraising for the Boys and Girls Club, donated food and services to the Pope John Paul II Church, and supported countless other community events. Louis enjoyed the finer things in life: the Chicago Bears, crossword puzzles, cooking, laughing with family, playing cards, and a glass of fine wine accompanied by foie gras and St. Agur cheese. Louis is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Christine; 4 children: Patrick Laulhere, Marc Laulhere, Rebecca Gomez, Jessica Hoppe; sons-in-law: Dario Gomez, Jason Hoppe; daughters-in-law: Judy Laulhere, Shannon Laulhere; and sister-in-law: Marjorie MacDonald. Louis will be greatly missed by his 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who they affectionally called "Poppi". Memorial Donations may be made to CHOC Children's Thompson Autism Center in Orange County. A Celebration of Louis' life will be planned at a later date due to COVID restrictions. Nous t'aimerons pour toujours!
