McClinton THEDA M. MCCLINTON March 31, 1927 December 24, 2020 Theda M. McClinton, mother of Joseph W. McClinton (Shana), grandmother of Thea J. Weaver, Tessa B. Kelly (Nicholas), David J. McClinton, and step-grandmother of Hunter E. Byrd (Cheryl) passed away December 24, 2020. Mrs. McClinton was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William E. McClinton, daughter Carla Rae Weaver and son David Edward McClinton. She was also predeceased by her parents, John B. and Olivia (Pemberton) Adams, three sisters Irma I. Carrick (DeWolf), Thelma G. Storer (Corby F.) and Willa Jean Stimpfling (Robert L.); seven brothers - J. Oscar (Ruth), Roy J. (Margaret), Carl E. (Elton), Edgar C., Ewell G. (Elizabeth), Loral W. (Gale) and twin brother Theron R. (Patricia). Mrs. McClinton graduated from Simla Union High School and attended Blair Business School. She retired from Federal Civil Service after working in communications at the Air Force Academy, Ent Air Force Base and NORAD (Cheyenne Mtn.). She then retired from Colorado Interstate Gas Co. In accordance with her wishes there will be no public viewing. A private service will be held for immediate family.
