In memory of
Emily Wynne
WYNNE, Emily Day With great sadness, the family of Emily Day Wynne announces that she passed away January 7, 2021. Emily was born in Atlanta, GA on December 5, 1937 to the late Frank and Myrtle Day. Emily was very hard working and after a career in administration, she retired from Flowers Bakery. In her spare time Emily loved to dance (line dancing was her favorite), go fishing, listen to classic country music and rout for the Georgia Bulldogs. She was an extremely loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. There are not words that can describe what she meant to her family. Left to cherish her memory is her son, David Harris (wife, Julia); grandchildren, Brett Harris (wife, Katlin) and Bradley Harris; great-grandchildren, Paxton and Henley Harris; siblings, Jo Lee, Gail Lanier and Mike Day; and numerous loving nephews and nieces. Emily was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Harris; sister, Frankie Mitchell; and brother, Charles Webb. A celebration of Emily's life will be on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St., Woodstock, GA 30188. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in memory of Emily to the American Kidney Fund, https://www.kidneyfund.org/ .
