Lonnie "Lon" E. Doolin Aug. 21, 1937 - Jan. 9, 2021 OKLAHOMA CITY Lon Doolin, 83, a Christian, has joined his heavenly family. He was born in Decatur, IL to John Edward an d Mildred Faye (Walker) Doolin. Lon married Nova Heffington in Sept. 1955 (65 years!). Lon is reunited with his daughter, Dana (Griffin). He leaves behind his son, David and his wife Dena (Cox); grandchildren: Dallas and Dax Doolin, Joshua (Cristen), Daniel (Mallory), Adam (Ashley) and Andrew Griffin; and 3 great-grand-children: Porter, Nova Grace and Merrick Griffin.
