Jeanne Darc Diette
Jeanne D'arc (Lajoie) Diette, 85, of Westford, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, MA she was the daughter of the late Joseph Napoleon Lajoy and Delia Marie (Larochelle) Diette. Jeanne graduated from Sacred Heart High School with the class of 1953 and earned her associates degree in nursing to become an R.N. she worked for many years at St. Johns Hospital and retired from Companion Care Commonwealth Nursing. She was an active parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford. In her free time she volunteered for the YMCA food kitchen, loved listening to country music, travelling, camping and loved being around animals. She was the wife of the late Robert Diette, who passed away in 2005, the mother of the late Douglas Diette and was predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Diette is survived by her children Kenneth Diette of Westford, Michael Diette of Plainville, MA. and also Gregory Diette of Westford, three grandchildren, Michael Magoon, Ryan Diette and Telina Diette, and one great granddaughter, Isabella Gomez . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her calling hours on Wednesday, January 13, from 4PM to 7PM at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD MA, 01863. Her funeral will be Thursday, January 14, at the Dolan Funeral Home at 10AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, N. Chelmsford.
