Jane McAlpin Christofano, 94, a resident of St. Anne Home, Greensburg, formerly of Jeannette, passed away from covid-19, Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021. She was born Feb. 8, 1926, in Sewickley Township, a daughter of the late Robert and Lottie Chew McAlpin. Jane was a member of Ascension Church in Jeannette. In addition to her parents Jane was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence A. Christofano Jr., in 1989; and her two brothers, Robert and Edward McAlpin. Jane is survived by her two sons, Edward L. Christofano and his wife, Dianne, of Greensburg, and Ronald S. Christofano and his wife, Mary Ann, of Stafford, Va.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; an eighth great-grandchild due in May; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. Funeral services and interment in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg, were private. A memorial Mass and celebration of Jane's life will be scheduled at a future date, once the current health restrictions are lifted. The JOHN V.
