John Boettger
On Jan. 8, 2021, John Boettger passed away at the age of 83 in Southern Pines, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Janice; daughter, Judy; and sons, John and Jeff. "Jack" was born to parents Robert and Marie on July 1, 1937, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he shared his childhood with siblings, Robert and James. After graduating from Lehigh University as a mechanical engineer in 1959, he began a 36-year career with Public Service Electric and Gas. A year later, in 1960, he married Janice and they started their family in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey. After a successful career as general manager in the Nuclear Power Division, he retired to North Carolina.
