The family of Joseph L Bilodeau sadly announces his sudden and unexpected passing on January 9,2021 at Baystate Medical in the comfort of their love. Born in Springfield on February 27,1961 to Ronald and Patricia (Davis) Bilodeau he was a lifelong Agawam resident. He was educated in Agawam graduating from Agawam high school class of 1979. Currently Joe was a valued member of the Town of Agawam highway department. Joe believed in being fit and looked forward to his work outs at Club Fitness in West Springfield. He also was an avid Patriots fan. Joe was a man who had many friends and he enjoyed socializing with them. He could often be found attending many of the events at the Majestic theater which brought him great pleasure. His most treasured times were those he spent with his family. His memory will remain with all that knew and loved him. Joe is survived by his beloved parents, his devoted brother Michael, and his cherished girlfriend Lorri Rousseau all of Agawam. He leaves his Grandmother Edna White of Enfield, Uncle Edward White of Ct, Uncle Roger Pelletier and Aunt Linda of Enfield and many cousins and friends who will dearly miss him. He was predeceased by his grandfather Leo Bilodeau of Agawam and his grandparents George and Vera (Malone) Davis. Calling hours -walk through- for Joe will be held Friday evening January 15,2021 from 4-6 P.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main St in Agawam. Funeral services and committal will be held privately for the family. For those wishing to donate in Joe’s name the family has requested considering the National Stroke Association 9707 E Easter Lane Centennial Colorado 80112. All COVID 19 guidelines will be adhered to.
