Kenneth E. Blagg Crooksville - Kenneth E. Blagg, Jr, 84, of Crooksville, Ohio died at 9:45 AM, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born September 22, 1936 in Crooksville, the son of the late Kenneth E. and Madolin (nee: Berrisford) Blagg, Sr. Kenny was a 1955 graduate of York High School in Deavertown. He retired after 36 years from Columbia Gas where he worked as a senior pipe fitter. He loved to hunt and eat wild mushrooms. Kenny very much enjoyed mowing his yard, getting the mower out when he saw the first blade of grass in the Spring. He was inducted into the Perry County Baseball Hall of Fame in 2013. Until very recently, he bowled on a regular basis in the Senior League at Sunrise Bowling Lanes. Kenny was a faithful member of Iliff United Methodist Church in McLuney where he was the official 'bacon-cooker' for the Men of Vision group. Kenny was a loving and devoted family man. Left behind to mourn his passing is his beloved wife of 63 years, Shirley (nee: Anderson) Blagg; his children and their spouses, Penni and Alan Keith, Jeff and Beth Blagg and Tod and Earl Blagg; his grandchildren, Sarah Blagg, Seth Blagg and Tyler (Loren) Keith; his great-grandchildren, Laikyn, Lennon, and Tegan Blagg, Brooklyn, Beau and Liam Keith; his sister Barbara Miller and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dick and Betty Anderson. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughters, Carrie and Chrissy Keith and his brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Betty Blagg. Family and friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St.. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 14 at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Inboden as celebrant. He will be laid to rest in Iliff Cemetery.
