Raul Rodriguez 01/27/1948 - 01/02/2021 It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our father; Raul Rodriguez. He was born in Raymondville, Texas on January 27th, 1948. He lived in the Coachella Valley since 1971 and built a beautiful life with his family. On January 2nd, 2021 he lost his battle to COVID19 at the age of 72. He worked for Mission Hills CC for 26 years as a Shop Maintenance Manager and retired 9 years ago. He loved playing golf, bowling, going to his granddaughter's softball tournaments and most of all camping and spending time with his family and friends. He leaves behind his beloved wife Irma of 43 years, their 3 children together, Joel, Carlos and Rebecca; along with five other children; Eric, Robert, Raul, Elizabeth and Kendrick; 22 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Carmen, his aunt Lolis and 3 brothers Alvaro, Ruben, Gonzalo and one sister Martha, all of Mexico City. His family will miss his laugh, smile, his jokes and most of all his amazing cooking. Viewing will be held at 82025 Bliss Ave in Indio, from 4pm-8pm on January 21st. There will be a private mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church January 22nd for his wife, children and grandchildren. The Burial will be held at the Coachella Valley Cemetery, in Coachella at 1130 following the mass. We ask that all attending use all precautions to stay safe; Wear masks and social distance.
