In memory of
Charles Joseph (Joe) Isola
Charles Joseph (Joe) Isola 1933 - 2020 Charles Joseph (Joe) Isola passed away December 23, 2020. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Shirley (dec. March 2019). Joe is survived by their three children, Joseph, Lee (and Teri) and Constance; 5 grandchildren, John, Anthony, Teri, Cooper and Rayna, and three great-grandchildren, Emilee, Dominick and Mila. Joe moved to Napa at age 7, growing up on Silverado Trail and attending Soda Canyon elementary, Napa High School, and later graduated from Napa Junior College. Following service in the United States Army during the Korean War, he and his wife Shirley Joan (Reed) Isola returned to Napa, purchasing a house that they lived in for the next 64 years. Joe continued his government service with the United States Postal Service, finally retiring after 37 years. Before there was MapQuest or Google maps, his family knew they could ask him for locations and/or driving directions for any street or subdivision in Napa. Other than his 2 years in the US Army, he spent the last 80 years of his life in his beloved Napa. There will be a private graveside service for family members only. The Isola family would like to thank the staff of Queen of the Valley hospital for their understanding and compassion in the final hours of Joe's life. We are forever grateful.
