Douglas James Peek Knoxville - Douglas James Peek - age 65 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Doug was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was born June 6, 1955 to Rev. Don L. and Jean Peek. He was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and was an active member in Steve Maples' Sunday School class. Preceded in death by parents, Rev. Don L. and Jean Peek. Doug accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior early in life and leaves a legacy of commitment, love, loyalty and dedication. Doug was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and began working for the Mayor's office with the City of Knoxville for 8 years before moving to Frankfort, KY to work for Governor Martha Layne Collins. Upon returning to Knoxville, he began his passionate career with Ted Russell Ford where he achieved 30 years of sales enjoyed meeting new people and helping his clients. Family and friends have been enriched by the blessing of having him in their lives. He will always be remembered with love by his wife, Jenny Robertson Peek; son, Douglas James and Allison Peek; daughter, Dawn and Carlos III Martinez; grandchildren Carlos IV (Quatro), Tiago, Lena Maria, Lochlyn James, and Lily Patrick; sister, Pam Sellers; sister-in-law, Mary and Danny Bryant; brother-in-law, Jim and Rachael Robertson, niece, Sheena Baker; nephew, David; grand-niece Isabella; grand-nephew Isaiah and a host of friends.
