Mrs. Ruby Faye Hamilton Lemaitre Myers 89, of Escatawpa, MS passed away at her home on January 8,2021. Faye was born on February 24,1931 in Lincoln County, MS. She was a resident of Jackson County for most of her life. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars and former member of Escatawpa Baptist Church and will be deeply missed by many there. She had formerly worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding and Moss Point School System. Spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for the family and sewing on family quilts with her sister Tiny were her passions. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Ruby Lee Thornhill, husbands Francis Hamilton, Arnold Lee (Chippy) Lemaitre, and Tommy Myers, siblings Minnie Lea and Nita Goff. She is survived by her sons James Hamilton, Jerry Hamilton (Ann), Eugene Hamilton (Anita), Jerry Meyers (Tina), and daughter Ruth Evelyn Allen, brother David Thornhill, sisters Ann Carolyn Lee and Tiny Stricklin. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives. A graveside service will be Sunday January 10,2021 AT 1:00 PM at Serene Memorial Gardens 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, MS 39562. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic face mask and social distancing will be required at the graveside service.
