Alberta (Goben) Anderson June 13, 1931-January 2, 2021 Alberta Anderson, 89, of Tucson, AZ (formerly of New Windsor, IL) passed away on January 2nd, 2021. No services will be held at this time. Memorials can be made to Harmony Hospice Services of Tucson. Alberta was born on June 13th, 1931 in Viola, IL, the youngest of eight children to Frank and Eva Goben. She married James Anderson on November 25th, 1951 in Viola. Alberta enjoyed baking and cross-stitching. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in New Windsor. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, James; her three daughters and their spouses: Nora and David Steele of Silvis, IL; Nancy and Richard Mackel of Tucson, AZ; Jamie and Lee Saenz of Tucson, AZ; and her son, Martin Anderson, of Tucson, AZ. Also included are seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her five brothers and two sisters.
