On Sunday, January 3, 2021, Larry J. Smith, a loving husband, father, and Pawpaw passed away at the age of 73. He loved to laugh, help others, and watch his grandchildren grow. Larry is survived by his daughter, Leisa Allbee (Richard), son, Jon Smith (April), and daughter, Nicole Bethley (Joe III). He is also survived by his brother, Harry Smith, his sister, Brenda Sevin, his brother, Danny Smith, and numerous family members and friends. He was a loving grandfather to Jodi, Justin, Joshua, Jeremy, Ricky, Paige, Ariel, Jolea', Alyssa, and Carly and great-grandfather to Shasta, Dakota, Sarah, Mason, Jeremiah, Landon, Camden, and Xander. He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy J. Smith, daughter, Tammie Maples, and grandsons, Micheal Haley and Joe Bethley IV. A graveside service will be held: Saturday, January 9, at 12:00 pm Sandy Creek Baptist Church 22834 Liberty Rd. Zachary, La. 70791.
