Edward Madison affectionately known as "Mummy" passed away peacefully at Nottingham Regional Rehab Center in Baton Rouge, LA. on Thursday, December 31, 2020. He was 74 years old and a native of Baton Rouge, LA. He is survived by a devoted and loving wife of 52 years, Charlotte Nixon Madison; three devoted and caring children, Carl Madison, Deatreaus (Kozimuh) Johnson, Baton Rouge, LA. and Patrick Madison, Coral Springs, FL.; four grandchildren, Carlissya, Jalil, Carly, and Patrick, II; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Calvin L. Thomas, Warren Madison, Charles (Edna) Brown, and Rev. Gerald (Teacia) Madison; four sisters, Clayia (George) Hamilton, Terrell Mitchell, Linda (Bruce) Brown, and Patricia (George) Anthony, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 8, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary Baptist Church 1252 N. Acadian Thruway Baton Rouge, LA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Friendship Chapel Baptist Church Scholarship Fund 2111 North St. Baton Rouge, LA. 70802.
