Elizabeth E. Bean Elizabeth E. Bean, 100, of La Crosse passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. Betty is survived by her sister, Joan Mourning of Crystal, Minn.; sister-in-law, Doris Thompson of La Crosse; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Helen (Blanchard) Thompson; her husband, David Bean; brother, Richard V. Thompson; and brother-in-law, James Mourning. Due to the COVID-19 and the current health guidelines, a private graveside service will be held at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park in La Crosse, at a later date.
